# Extract what your sources report about a hadith — Gemini Notebook prompt

> Pulls together the chain, the grading and the commentary that your uploaded collections and commentaries give for one narration. It reports what the books say — it does not grade anything itself, which is not a thing an AI has standing to do.

## The prompt

```
Narration under study: [text or first words of the hadith].
From my uploaded collections and commentaries only, gather:
1. Where each of my sources records it — collection, book, chapter and number as the source gives them.
2. The chain of transmission exactly as each source prints it, without normalising the names.
3. Any grading my sources state, with the name of whoever gave that grading, quoted rather than paraphrased.
4. The commentary each source offers on its meaning.
5. Any variant wordings my sources note, and what turns on the variation.
Important: report only what the sources state. Do not assess the chain, do not assign a grading of your own, and do not infer a grading from silence. Where my sources give no grading, say that no grading is stated.
```

## How to use it

1. Open your notebook at notebooklm.google.com.
2. Replace the [bracketed] parts with your specifics.
3. Paste the prompt into the chat box and send it.

Square brackets mark the parts you replace with your own topic or question.
