Structured research brief

Deep analysisGoes in: Chat

Turn a notebook of mixed sources into a tight, citable brief you can hand to a teammate.

Shared by Sourclip — credit where it's due.

Build a structured research brief from the sources in this notebook.

Format the output as:
1. Topic & scope — in one sentence.
2. Key claims — list each claim with the source it comes from.
3. Areas of consensus — where sources agree.
4. Points of disagreement — where sources contradict or undercut each other.
5. Gaps — what is missing, under-evidenced, or out of date.

Use only what's in the notebook. If you infer anything, flag it as "[inference]" and explain why.

How to use it

  1. 1Open your notebook at notebooklm.google.com.
  2. 2Replace the [bracketed] parts with your specifics.
  3. 3Paste the prompt into the chat box and send it.

Square brackets mark the parts you replace with your own topic or question.
