Build a glossary of the Arabic terms in your text

Islamic studiesGoes in: Chat

For working through a text in translation or a mixed-language syllabus. Produces a study glossary of the technical vocabulary as that particular text uses it, which is usually the thing that makes a difficult work suddenly readable.

From my uploaded sources, build a glossary of the technical Arabic terms they use.

For each term:
- Arabic script
- Transliteration
- The sense it carries in this text specifically, not a general dictionary sense
- The passage where it is first used or defined, with location
- Related terms it should be studied alongside, and terms it is easily confused with

Order the glossary by how central the term is to the argument of the text, not alphabetically — I want to know which twenty terms to learn first. Mark any term my sources use inconsistently.

How to use it

  1. 1Open your notebook at notebooklm.google.com.
  2. 2Replace the [bracketed] parts with your specifics.
  3. 3Paste the prompt into the chat box and send it.

Square brackets mark the parts you replace with your own topic or question.
