Course syllabi and lecture transcripts from edX give a notebook actual structure, sequencing a topic the way a university course would rather than pulling from scattered blog posts. That makes it a good source for building a self-study notebook meant to walk through a subject in order. What's available for free audit varies by course, and some materials are trimmed compared to the paid track.
