ILO statistics on employment, wages, and working conditions for most countries. Indicator descriptions and country profiles import well as web sources.
ILOSTAT's numbers are harmonized so that unemployment, wage, or informal-employment figures mean roughly the same thing from one country to the next, something national labor ministries don't always manage for each other. That makes it a better fit than most single-country statistics offices for a notebook comparing labor conditions across borders. The harmonization smooths over some national definitional quirks, so a notebook needing exact domestic classifications may still need to cross-check the country's own agency.
