75,000+ public-domain books. Grab the Plain Text UTF-8 edition for the cleanest import.

With over 75,000 titles, it's deep enough for a notebook built around a single 19th-century author's full body of work, not just one famous novel. The Plain Text UTF-8 edition strips the formatting cruft that HTML and Kindle versions carry, which matters for import quality. Its catalog is bound by copyright, so it stops well short of the 20th century and won't have scholarly annotated editions.
