Transcribed historical texts, speeches and primary documents, page-linked and citable.
Volunteers transcribe primary documents — speeches, treaties, court opinions, historical newspapers — and link them by page, which lets a notebook cite the exact passage rather than a paraphrase of it. That makes it useful for a history notebook that needs to quote a document precisely instead of relying on a secondary account of what it said. Transcription completeness varies a lot by language and by how much volunteer attention a given text has gotten.
