Decades of comparable survey waves across close to 100 countries make this a fit for questions about how attitudes toward trust, religion, or gender have shifted over time and across cultures. The questionnaires and findings reports give both the exact wording asked and the academic interpretation, useful to import alongside any figures. Not every country appears in every wave, so a cross-country comparison needs to check which years each country was surveyed.
