Statcast data for MLB — pitch tracking, exit velocity, player pages. Export search results as CSV and upload them for stat-grounded notebooks.
This is MLB's own Statcast platform, so the pitch-by-pitch and batted-ball data here is the same data teams and broadcasters use. Exporting a search as CSV gives a notebook real, current numbers to reason over instead of secondhand commentary. The catch is that Statcast tracking only goes back to around 2015, so it isn't useful for older-era comparisons.
