Researchers upload their own papers here, which sometimes means finding a free copy of something that's paywalled at the publisher, especially for older or less prominent work. An account is required to download, and the platform pushes a paid tier fairly hard, so treat it as a fallback rather than a first stop. Uploads are voluntary and self-selected, so a paper's absence here says nothing about whether it exists elsewhere.
