PubMed Central

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc

Academic papersfree

Free full-text biomedical papers — unlike PubMed proper, articles here import complete, not as abstracts.

PMC only hosts articles whose journals or funders agreed to deposit full text, so what you get is the complete paper rather than the abstract-only stub PubMed proper gives you. That makes it the place to go once you need actual methods and results, not just a conclusion sentence to cite. Its holdings are smaller than PubMed's full index, so a paper you find there may not have a PMC copy.

Import into Gemini Notebook

  1. 1Copy the link above (or a specific page from the site).
  2. 2In your notebook, click Add source → Website.
  3. 3Paste the link and confirm — several links can be pasted at once, one per line.

Gemini Notebook reads the text of the page you give it. Paste pages that carry the full text (an arXiv abs page, a PubMed Central article) — a paywalled landing page imports as just an abstract.
