NDLTD indexes theses and dissertations from universities worldwide, useful for finding graduate-level research on narrow topics that never turned into a journal article. A notebook chasing a specific niche question sometimes finds more in a dissertation's literature review than in the published papers on the same subject. Full texts run long, so importing a whole dissertation usually adds more noise than pulling a targeted chapter would.
