What makes it unusual is the patent cross-linking — you can trace a research paper forward to the patents that cite it, which is genuinely hard to do elsewhere and useful for a notebook tracking how academic work turns into real technology. Coverage of both papers and patents can be uneven depending on the country or patent office involved, so treat gaps as a data limitation rather than proof nothing exists.
