Crossref is the registry that assigns and tracks DOIs for scholarly work, so it's a reliable way to confirm a citation is real and find the publisher's canonical page before adding a paper to a notebook. It only returns metadata, not the paper itself, so it's a verification step rather than a source of content.
Import into Gemini Notebook
