Systematic reviews that weigh the medical evidence on a question. Abstracts and plain-language summaries are free; full reviews often need access.
Cochrane reviews pool results across many individual trials on a single question, often a faster way to answer whether a treatment works than reading trials one at a time. The plain-language summaries are free and usually enough to ground a notebook's basic claim, while the full statistical review behind them often needs paid access.

- NIH National Library of MedicineUmbrella for PubMed, MedlinePlus, and vast biomedical collections. Start here to find authoritative health sources worth importing.
