For questions comparing disease burden, mortality, or health system performance across countries, WHO's own indicator database is the standard reference, and the country profile pages summarize the numbers in a form that imports cleanly into a notebook. It works well for global health comparisons over time. Data quality and reporting lag depend on each country's own health statistics system, so figures from countries with weaker reporting infrastructure should be read with that in mind.
