Elsevier's biomedical literature database, strong on drug trials, devices and conference abstracts. Subscription only — usually reached via a university library.

Embase indexes conference abstracts and international drug trial data more thoroughly than PubMed does, which matters for pharmacovigilance or drug-safety questions where the missing signal often shows up first in a conference presentation. It's subscription-only, so realistic access usually means going through a university or hospital library account.

These sources mix journal PDFs, dataset docs and institutional reports — the PDF or article page imports far better than a paywalled landing page.
