Open geochemistry, geochronology and petrology datasets from the earth science community. Good grounding for rock and sediment chemistry questions.
This is a specialist archive of geochemistry, geochronology and petrology data, put together by earth scientists rather than a general repository, so the units and methods are documented the way a geochemist would expect. It's the right pick for a notebook asking specific questions about rock or sediment composition and dating methods. Its narrowness is also its limitation: outside earth science it has nothing to offer.
