EIA is the standard reference for US energy production, consumption, and price data, and its Annual Energy Outlook is the document industry analysts lean on for forecasts. It fits questions about gasoline prices, electricity generation mix, or how oil production has shifted by state. The data goes deep on the US but thinner on international comparisons, so pair it with another source for global energy questions.
