Official US forecasts, warnings, and climate records. Storm summaries and climate report pages import well for weather-event research.

NWS is the primary source for US forecasts, watches, and warnings, and its storm summaries and climate reports carry the technical detail — official rainfall totals, verified wind speeds — that a notebook on a specific weather event needs to get right. It's US-focused, so notebooks on storms or climate elsewhere should look to that country's meteorological agency instead. Historical climate normals and event reports import cleanly as PDFs or web pages.

Raw climate and geodata rarely imports directly — bring in the documentation, technical reports and summary pages instead of the datasets themselves.
