The standard global ocean depth grid, free to download. Its documentation and cookbook pages ground questions about seafloor mapping.
GEBCO is the ocean depth grid most oceanographic work cites as its baseline, and its documentation and cookbook pages explain how the grid was compiled well enough to ground a technical question about it. Scope is narrow by design — bathymetry only — and reading the methodology pages assumes some familiarity with how these grids are built.
